Seventh Round of Cross Series

For the seventh round of the series we again raced at Amlwch. This course was a favourite with some of the riders last time we visited, and this time was no exception. Course designers Richard Jones and Marc Bowman, both members of Holyhead CC, gave the visiting riders something different from last time and it proved a hit.

Fifth round of the cross league

The fifth round of the winter cross league saw us travel down to Ysgol Botwnog near Pwllheli. As has been the norm over the last couple of weeks, conditions were very cold but dry with the ground frozen. This made for some fast riding over a superb course designed by the folks of Llyn CC.

Fourth round of the cross league

Round four of the Revolution Bikes winter cross series took place at Plas Ffrancon in Bethesda on the 13th of December, the same venue as round one. This time however some changes had been made to the course and the riders faced yet again a very challenging route. With clear but cold skies above the riders headed out on fields that had seen an overnight frost.

Third round of the Cross League

Another new North Wales venue was unveiled for the 3rd Round of the TLI Wales / Revolution Bikes winter cyclolcross league at Prestatyn Leisure Centre organised by Deeside Olympic and Prestatyn Town Council on the 6th of December.

Kuota Korsa Lite

The all new Korsa is the latest edition to the Kuota range of bikes.

New for 2010, this model will be slightly different to the now well known Kharma and Kebel, in that it will feature an alloy frame and carbon forks.

Equipped with a sram rival groupset and finished with deda kit this bike is sure to be a hit.

We expect our first delivery of these bikes around mid Feb. Call in store for more detail.

Second round of Cross league

It was cold. It was wet. It was windy. The mud was reminiscent of a scene from the Battle of the Somme. This was cyclo cross racing in North Wales in mid November at its toughest. Yet 25 brave, some may say foolish, souls turned up in Amlwch on Sunday 22nd November for the second event of the inaugural North Wales Cyclo Cross League 2009/10 sponsored by Revolution Bikes Bangor under the TLI.
